The Role Due to significant growth a rare opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the team. Reporting to the State Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base within the building materials industry.Identify and prioritize new business opportunities through thorough market research, networking, and relationship building.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and other industry professionals to promote our products and services.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer needs, project requirements, and product offerings.Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.Negotiate contracts and agreements, securing favourable terms for both the company and the client.Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations.Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the glass manufacturing or building materials industry.In-depth understanding of glass manufacturing processes and applications, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively.Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and expanding market share within the glass manufacturing sector.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, particularly with architects, contractors, and developers.Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends specific to the glass industry to drive informed business decisions.Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events, including trade shows and conferences.Salary Expectations $100,000 - $125,000 + Super + Company Car + Comms
