About the role The Business Development Manager, Emerging Markets is a newly created role designed to develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve significant growth in our Emerging Market Sector for our Services and Product business which includes Mining / Utilities / Rail / Defence and Telecommunications.
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will work with technical and account management professionals, facing senior level mobile operators, consultants, construction companies and electrical contractors and be presenting a variety of network solutions and services to them, including both IBC/DAS and GRN networks.
You will work closely with internal engineering, manufacturing and distribution channels. You'll be responsible for building customer relationships, understanding their business and network challenges and responding to them with solutions to meet all stakeholder requirements.
Critical to your success will be your experience with and ability to:
Develop the market sector by forming a strategy and leading the generation of sales leads, and closing deals/contracts in the market sectors as outline above Combining existing products/services for a specific client thereby creating a new product, service or solution that once sold becomes a standard organisational offering. Conducting product demonstrations and preparing sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and negotiating contracts as well as Account Management. About you You're an experienced Business Development manager in the mobile or transmission space You have a solid track record developing business and achieving sales growth in infrastructure products and services for the sector You have a detailed understanding of GSM/WCDMA/LTE access networks You have demonstrated experience with high level strategy, business alignment and relationship management You will have an established network with key carrier and construction operators in Australia Strong leadership and management skills, with experience motivating and developing teams and drive success in managing and supporting bids and proposals Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to articulate complex concepts to a broad range of internal and external audiences If you have the skills and experience for this role and want to join a dynamic business going through significant growth, then we want to hear from you.
