About the role Based in our Brisbane office, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving the company's growth, by identifying and capitalising on new construction and maintenance opportunities within the mining, renewables, and energy sectors.
This role requires a strong understanding of these industries and the ability to leverage market insights to develop strategic initiatives that enhance revenue and strengthen client relationships.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Account management - managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, devising / implementing sales strategies, and negotiating contracts.Market intelligence gathering - develop market research methods and indicators to identify major prospects.Assess potential sales and marketing opportunities in the area and recommend the allocation of financial and human resources for turning these opportunities into achieved sales.Collaborate with marketing, proposals, estimating, and operational teams to align business objectives and deliver on customer needs.Co-ordinate and contribute to the development of winning proposals, including liaising with key internal stakeholders to gain business support and setting strategies that will ensure tender success.Development of opportunity capture plans and tender win strategies.Development and management of client relationships through Early Contractor Involvement processes.About you Extensive industry experience is a key requirement.Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable but not mandatory.In-depth understanding of Altrad's operations, including its business, contracts, and services, both at the strategic and operational levels.Comprehensive knowledge of the industry and market sectors in which Altrad operates, with awareness of key clients, competitors, industry trends, and economic drivers that influence business development.Proven expertise in client relationship management, with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships.Advanced proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, particularly Salesforce.Why you should work for Altrad Our Opportunities: Embark on a thrilling journey with us, tackling diverse and exciting challenges on some of the world's most prominent resources, energy, and infrastructure projects.Our Vibrant Culture: Immerse yourself in a dynamic atmosphere where problem-solving is a way of life.
