Business Development Manager | ConstructionThis company is a fast-growing, modular building company with an entrepreneurial start-up feel. They have a stand-out product, led by a vibrant and energetic team with two passionate and driven Directors. They focus on all modular projects such as government work (schools, hospitals) and hospitality (luxury cabins and pods for holiday resorts). No two projects are alike, with their in-house design team engineering bespoke, customized solutions to suit even the craziest of briefs.
Due to ongoing growth, Design & Build are assisting to find a 'unicorn' Business Development Manager to drive existing and new relationships through the sales process and ongoing to construction handover and beyond.
As a Business Development Manager your role will include: Source new clients and exciting projects for the business, including qualifying direct & existing leads whilst having the drive to find your own through market research & networking.Coordinating and preparing tender proposals, ensuring compliance with company branding & client requirements, projects averaging $10m-$50m in value.Client management including the opportunity to travel to various dream locations across Australia, to conduct feasibility inspections and develop long term relationships.Collaborating with the in-house design team to ensure your clients' visions are brought to life, and continuing to assist across the project lifecycle.Developing and implementing new business development initiatives and strategies.The successful 'unicorn' candidate will have: 10+ years experience within the Construction Industry (modular is not compulsory) relating to project management / construction support / design.Outstanding communication skills, with a background in Sales or Business Development roles advantageous.A demonstrated ability to meet targets and KPIs.First-class relationship building skills and an infectious enthusiasm, with an entrepreneurial mindset a big plus!A passion and ability to travel across Australia as and when required.The benefits for the successful candidate: An exciting salary package with huge earning potential and the ability to shape your package to your individual needs.
