Our capabilities span from project design to project implementation across robotics automation solutions to industrial measurement solutions, training, service, and support.
About The Role We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Measurement Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our accelerated bonus scheme, with a generous base salary, car allowance, company laptop and mobile phone provided. Your role is to grow revenue, develop new businesses and maintain client relationships as we grow. Based at our Underwood, QLD Branch Location.
Establish rapport with new customers to achieve your personal sales budget through prospecting, cold calling, following up on referrals/web leads and setting up appointments with key decision-makers.Achieve targets for sales revenue, gross profit and sales activity (i.e. prospecting activities, quotes generated, customer appointments, etc) as set by your manager.Actively develop relationships and sales opportunities with new and existing customers from both company-provided and self-generated leads including working with other sales team members to formulate tender responses within time frames.Research competitor and industry activity and keep informed of new products/services and other general information of interest to customers incorporating this data into your sales process.Develop deep product knowledge so as to be able to sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients on customised solutions that best meet their needs.Skills & Experience: Exemplary customer service skills, positive, proactive and can-do attitude with strong accuracy and attention to detail in completing and following through on all aspects of the sales process.Experience in a capital sales role/role which sold a technical range of products and solutions and have ongoing relationships with a multitude of industries that supply or distribute FMCG, Capital Equipment. Engineering backgrounds is desirable.Competitive remuneration package, including a Car Allowance and sales incentive program.
