Business Development Manager (Audiovisual)

Business Development Manager ideally qualified in Electrical, Audiovisual / Sound Engineering, Project Management or Electronics Engineering along with 5+ years' experience selling AV systems projects - new / upgrade and ongoing service contracts to the financial services, education, leisure, defence and government sectors.

Base Criteria

Ideally qualified in Electrical, Audiovisual / Sound Engineering, Project Management or Electronics Engineering along with a strong understanding of Audiovisual systems including Upgrades, Minor Project Works through to Capex Projects up to $4M.

Outline Duties
Support and drive new business opportunities within minor works or refurbishment projects as well as Capex projects to $4 million, along with ongoing service contracts across a diverse Local / State Government, Defence, Education, Financial Services and Commercial Office client portfolio.

Skills and Attributes Over 5years industry experience, you will have gained at least 3years Business Development experience within an organisation delivering audio visual solutions to a mix of client premises. You will have excellent Client Relationship Management skills, able to undertake site walk-rounds and identify scope of works, pricing of works and variations. Able to read andinterpret Architectural Drawings and undertake cost estimations. Prior experience across a range of commercial projectors and flat panel displays, control panels, sound, projector security, digital signage, projector screens, document and viewing cameras and interactive whiteboards. An excellent communicator, with strong English language skills, you will have an engaging personality and strong presentation skills to drive new business opportunities.
