Business Development Manager - Advanced ManufacturingAbout us:MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments and safety technologies for the underground mining, tunnelling, chemical processing, disaster relief and biotechnology industries. We specialise in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters and plant grow chambers, as well as a range of electronic equipment, remote monitoring, tracking and communications technologies that allow full integration in heavy industrial applications.This is a new role, based in our Perth Head Office, for a dedicated Business Development Manager to drive sales and expansion in MineARC's new Advanced Manufacturing capability, enhancing other Australian manufacturers via MineARC Systems' newly commissioned equipment. Equipment includes: SMT Line (Electronics Assembly), Surface Treatment, Turret Punch & Tower and Steel Cutting, Bending and Finishing. You will be instrumental in the early stages of product development and working with other Australian manufacturers from startups producing prototypes through to OEMs at full rate production. The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved in our Innovation team identifying new products.The Role:Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, you will be responsible for:Prospecting and securing new business within the Australian market including acquisitionsMaintaining and building customer relationshipsAchieving budgeted salesUpdating and maintaining the company CRMManaging the end-to-end sales process from quoting to manufacturingTravel as required to clients' sites, expos, and conferencesLiaising with production on the sourcing of componentryEnsuring that the products sold are in accordance with the client's specifications and QA/QCDeveloping and implementing strategic business plans for the businessWorking closely with our CIO on strategy and market developmentLiaising directly with our engineering, marketing, and production teamsAbout You:To be successful in this role, you will need:Proven ability in the acquisition of new customers and sales budgets.Exposure to the Manufacturing Industry or the Fabrication sector would be favourableExperience in selling and supplying equipment across manufacturing, research, tertiary or industrial industriesAbility to present to all levels within an organisation including senior managementAbility to present at seminars, conferences and corporate functions.Self-motivated and career focusedAn interest in electronics and new technologiesStrong networking, negotiation and social skillsExperience with Mergers and Acquisitions would be advantageous.Ability to travel nationally and internationally and attend expos and other eventsCompetency in the MS Suite of programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointA qualification in Business, Engineering, Electronics or Manufacturing would be advantageousBenefits:MineARC offers:An opportunity to work at a growing international company whilst collaborating with a highly motivated teamCompetitive remuneration package commensurate with experienceOpportunity to play a pivotal role in a new business unitFree gym with 24/7 accessOpportunities for career progressionSocial club and regular eventsMineARC are seeking an experienced BDM to join our busy Sales and Innovation team to sell new products and services we are bringing to market!#J-18808-Ljbffr
