Aristoclad, a division of the Opalescent Group, is Australia's premier in-house manufacturer of innovative facade Cladding systems & Architectural features & solutions. As we continue to expand in response to strong demand, we are seeking a dynamic BDM / Project Manager to join our team.
Role Overview
In this critical role, you will serve as the liaison between our commercial, sales, and technical teams, managing intricate and technical quotes for facades, wall panels, and louver screen systems. Projects typically range from $50k to $600k, with some scaling up to $1m-$3m. Your duties will include developing quotes, reviewing projects, and collaborating with external suppliers, architects, contractors, and builders to ensure precise technical specifications and material sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
To develop leads and new sales driving growth and opportunities Building strong client relationships and contributing to the strategic development of the company Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and fabrication industries. Review customer drawings and plans to create detailed and accurate quotes. Source materials from internal and external suppliers as needed. Attend meetings with the Director and internal teams to discuss project and technical details. Assist with on-site project tasks when required. Keep the ERP system updated and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about architecture and design, enjoys working with advanced building products, and excels in developing proposals for a variety of exciting projects. A background in building and construction, roofing, facades, or cladding is advantageous.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in a similar technical estimating role. Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings/plans. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Formal technical qualifications in construction, engineering, or architecture are beneficial but not essential. Why Join Us?
