Integrated within the IFM and broader Sales teams, you will work with both existing Sales representatives to explore and exploit International Freight opportunities within their customer and prospects portfolio's – along with managing your own customer portfolio and pipeline. You will be required to grow the IFM business in new and existing markets through effective engagement with sales reps and customers, lead generation, market research, competitor analysis and relationship management.Your Duties IncludeDevelop new business opportunities within the International market;Grow and service a portfolio of Northline accounts;Meet and exceed sales targets and KPI's including customer satisfaction, face-to-face visits and retention;Develop new sales strategies to drive the business forward;Review and analyse accounts within your portfolio to ensure an understanding of your customer's challenges;Provide the necessary information and/or training to customers within your portfolio;Actively review and report on competitor activity and industry trends.To Be Considered for This RoleProven history of identifying, developing and establishing key internal and external relationships, ideally in a selling environment;Prior knowledge and understanding of the International Freight industry is essential;Experience in negotiations with customer and shipping agents alike;Knowledge of the logistics and warehousing industry also very desirable;Sound business acumen coupled with an advanced understanding of the International Freight marketplace;Demonstrated ability to provide service-based solutions to customer challenges;Advanced skills in negotiation, influencing, persuasion and conflict resolution skills within a sales environment;Self-motivation and resilience combined with a track history of achieving sales targets;Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to deliver high-impact proposals to a diverse audience;Excellent language, literacy, numeracy and communication skills;Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills and experience with in-house CRM software packages.Join UsAt Northline we believe our people are one of our greatest assets.
