About the Role (your why) As our Business Development Executive you'll represent Datacom to a broad range of customers, within Government and Corporate, promoting service offerings and developing new business opportunities. Key to success is your ability to be innovative and creative in ensuring targets are met or exceeded by selling Datacom service offerings including managed services, application development services, Cloud services and Infrastructure services and solutions.
Your strong knowledge of the New South Wales market and your experience selling complex enterprise solutions will ensure you're a high achiever in this role. Your success will also be ensured by your proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and vendors.
What you'll bring We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with 10+ years' sales experience, ideally with recent experience working in the Sydney/NSW market. You will be a self-motivated, driven, and a results orientated team player with a successful track record in sales.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
Solid understanding of the NSW market Solid understanding of Application and Digital Engineering Solutions Understanding of a broad range of IT services with the technical nous to pick up new offerings Experience selling complex enterprise solutions to clients in a variety of sectors Ability to absorb, apply and communicate technical information to a diverse audience Excellent customer and vendor relationship building and management skills Strong influencing and negotiation skills Excellent written and oral skills Experience in using Sales Force as the sales CRM for tracking opportunity progression through the sales cycle. Experience with/ good understanding of cloud based services/solutions would be highly desirable Why join us here at Datacom?
