Business Development Consultant - DisabilityFull time Business Development Consultant based in Bathurst & Central West
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join our Disability Employment Services team.
In this rewarding role, you will make a meaningful impact by improving the lives of individuals living with disabilities, their families, and carers in the local community, while driving the achievement of sustainable employment outcomes.
About the role: Identify key employers, develop employment opportunities, and continually build new and existing relationships that result in vacancy referrals and work commencement of participants.Identify and develop training opportunities that result in referral and educational commencement of participants.Actively market services through Job Fairs and community events.Provide education on disability awareness, inclusion and supports available to assist employers and community organisations to build confidence and capacity with working with people with a disability.Work collaboratively with key stakeholders including employers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), community organisations, NDIS providers, ADE's and social enterprises.Actively develop productive partnerships which drive business and enhance VERTO's profile within the employment region.About you: To be successful in this exciting and rewarding role you will have the following:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise and consult with a wide range of stakeholders.Demonstrated marketing and business development experience with the ability to succeed in a target-driven environment.A strong and unwavering focus on outcomes.Experience and knowledge with working with people with a disability.Experience in developing productive partnerships and community networks.Demonstrated ability to build rapport with a wide range of people; and encourage and support them to achieve their desired outcomes.Excellent administrative and computer-based systems capability.Certificate III in Employment Services, Community Services or Disability Services would be highly regarded or the willingness to obtain those qualifications.Experience in the Disability Employment Service would be highly regarded.Current driver's licence with ability and willingness to travel regionally.About us:
