Role Responsibilities: As a Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving the company's growth and success. In this dynamic role, you'll uncover new market opportunities, forge valuable strategic partnerships, and craft innovative sales strategies. Working collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization, you'll ensure alignment with business goals and play a key part in executing growth initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Market Research : Uncover fresh market opportunities, stay ahead of industry trends, and analyze competitors to gain a competitive edge. Market Analysis : Dive into data to spot emerging trends and assess competitor activities, helping you pinpoint potential opportunities and mitigate risks. Lead Generation : Use your networking skills, innovative prospecting methods, and targeted outreach to generate high-quality leads. Client Acquisition : Build strong relationships with potential clients, delivering compelling pitches to close deals and expand the client base. Relationship Management : Foster long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring their loyalty and driving repeat business. Partnership Development : Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other businesses to unlock new revenue streams and collaborative opportunities. Role Requirements Related degree / qualification or equivalent experience Proficiency using CRM's and business software systems Minimum of 4 years' experience in a BDM (or similar) role in the construction (or relative / relatable) sectors A network of clients / relationships within the sector/s A proven track record of securing new tender opportunities on projects in related sectors.
