Join the team Are you passionate about retail and possess a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a dedicated Business Auditor to join our dynamic team in Western Australia. As a Business Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting stores by conducting comprehensive store and distribution centre (DC) audits. Your mission will be to ensure audits are carried out in a professional, efficient, and cost-effective manner. You'll provide clear and actionable recommendations, empowering our stores to achieve higher performance standards. What you'll be doing: As a Business Auditor working at Kmart group, you will: Conduct regular store and DC audits in alignment with the Kmart Group Internal Audit Charter. Adapt to evolving business needs, undertaking various audit types within each quarter. Employ a project management approach to risk identification, analysis, and reporting. Analyse data and reports to develop practical recommendations for correction and improvement. Communicate audit findings effectively through clear and concise written and oral communications, adhering to the Wesfarmers writing style guide. Coach store leadership teams to identify root causes of concerns and support them in addressing non-compliance areas. Foster positive relationships with store, state, and national stakeholders, supporting Risk & Compliance's objective of being a trusted business partner known for high-quality, risk-focused, and balanced advice. Make informed decisions based on audit evidence and act accordingly. To be successful in this role you will have: A solid understanding of store operations, with previous experience conducting retail field audits considered favourably. Knowledge of internal control concepts, internal auditing standards, and risk assessment practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. The ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple audits simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with the capability to build and interpret dashboards. A proactive approach to building positive relationships with all levels of management, from Store Management to Zone and State Managers, and key Head Office stakeholders. A reputation for providing objective, impartial advice that is of high quality and risk focused.
