In this newly created role, as the Business Analyst – Sustainability you will join the People, Culture & Communications team reporting into the Head of Sustainability.
You will play a pivotal role in collecting, analysing, and reporting sustainability data to inform investment decisions and company strategies.
You will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into actionable insights that align with our commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
You will analyse business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to integrate sustainability initiatives into our operations.
Key Responsibilities for this role include the following: Develop and maintain sustainability reporting frameworks and dashboards.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support ESG investment strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability data into financial models.
Contribute to the development of sustainability policies and practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise sustainability-related business requirements.
Develop and implement sustainability initiatives that align with business objectives and ESG criteria.
Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability projects, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Work closely with the Sustainability Manager to prepare and present reports to stakeholders, ELT and Board.
To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum of 3 years experience as a business analyst, with a proven track record in sustainability projects.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
Strong data analysis and quantitative skills, with expertise in data manipulation, interpretation / analysis, and visualisation Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and findings to diverse stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with various levels of employees across BU's.
