Your Role This is a unique opportunity to join our Strategy and Corporate Development team and be at the forefront of our growth journey.
You will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other corporate development initiatives.
From a focus on bolt-on acquisitions one day to closing out a key customer negotiation on another, this role will be diverse - providing an ideal platform to fast-track your growth and set you up for success.
Support the full remit of corporate development activities including M&A, strategic partnerships, product development and key customer negotiations.
Develop and maintain financial models and analysis to calculate impact on value, cash flow and returns.
Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments of target companies.
Support the negotiation and structuring of transactions, including preparing and reviewing transaction documents, term sheets, and other key materials.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and the board.
Perform in-depth research and analysis covering market trends, competitive landscape and potential opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, operations and senior management to drive transaction processes and support post-merger integration efforts.
About You At least 3 years of financial modelling, business valuation, transactions, corporate development activities.
Ability to efficiently build, maintain and enhance high quality financial models incorporating DCF calculations and returns analysis.
Strong grasp of financial concepts such as discounted cash flow valuation and internal rate of return analysis and project finance.
Prior experience in supporting M&A and corporate development activities strongly preferred with an emphasis on financial modelling and valuation – ideally gained within an investment bank, advisory and/or in-house corporate development team.
Strategic thinker, able to digest complex matters and provide timely and succinct analysis.
Ability to work at pace to deliver results and to work autonomously.
