Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join our team at a leading cemeteries trust. In this role, you will assist our Business Analysts (BAs) in documenting processes, mapping needs, and utilizing relevant templates to create a comprehensive Business Analyst knowledge repository. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis while working in a care-based industry that focuses on digital enablement of cemetery systems and processes. As a shadow BA, you will be exposed to uncommon processes and operating models, enhancing your understanding of the industry and providing valuable insights for our projects.
Key Responsibilities: Assist BAs in documenting business processes and requirements.Support the process mapping of systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze business needs.Utilize templates and tools to contribute to the development of the BA knowledge repository.Shadow BAs during meetings and presentations to gain insight into stakeholder interactions and project management.Participate in discussions regarding digital enablement initiatives and implementation projects.Foster strong working relationships within a diverse and collegial team environment.Skills and Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.Interest in business analysis and digital transformation projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Good interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.Basic understanding of process mapping and documentation techniques.Familiarity with software and tools related to business analysis (e.g., MS Office Suite, Visio, etc.).A genuine interest in working in a care-based industry with a willingness to learn about unique processes and operating models.Culture and Work Environment: Join a mature Digital Technology Services (DTS) practice with experienced Project Managers and Business Analysts working on a variety of software rectification, remediation, rollout, and implementation projects.
