Our Agile Business Analysts are all about ensuring what we build is valuable by analysing for gaps and impact and making product owner decisions more efficient. Their work is crucial to our agile value driven mission by recognising and protecting value throughout the delivery life cycle.
Their responsibilities are very broad and include: Working as part of an agile team, managing the relationship with and between stakeholders, managing the backlog refinement and engaging with users and business to identify gaps and needs.Supporting product owners in value driven decision making and priority makingInvestigating and documenting business and customer requirementsCollaborating with developers and subject matter expertsParticipating in and facilitating relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals as needed: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Showcases/Sprint ReviewHaving input into change management or business impact assessments, assists in operational roll out and supportLooking to improve business processes and support strategic decision making across both Racing and Wagering portfoliosDefining and preparing business cases, project proposals and lean canvasesWorking closely with the Agile Capability Group to establish and support Ways of Working and RWWA's Agile delivery modelQualificationsAbout You We are looking for someone with: A formal certification as Agile Business AnalystPrevious experience in agile analysis and facilitating dialogue about customer value with the teams around epics, user stories, story decomposition, backlog refinement, elaboration, story mapping, prioritisation techniquesStrong facilitation skills in requirement gathering workshops and design thinking workshopsExperience in writing user stories, business-driven acceptance criteria test cases, process maps, flow diagram and use casesExperience working with UX and UI teams or ability to produce design assets such as wireframes, mock-upsExperience in the delivery of any mobile, app and web projectsExcellent communication skills, an eagerness to work collaboratively
