Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

About the Role The role is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Meter Data Services team within SSE Digital Services and Enterprise.
As the energy industry moves towards an exciting phase of Mandatory Market Wide Half-Hourly Settlement, we are looking for someone to help us elevate our data services under this new target operating model, including procuring additional services in conjunction with the DCC (Data Communications Company).
The candidate will need to work with our internal teams, external partners as well as provide business and commercial support on meter data service sales related activity, thereby contributing towards achieving an ambitious 5-year growth plan.
Responsibilities of the role: Identifies, creates, and maintains project documentation such as end-to-end business process maps, project charters & project initiation documents, change impact assessments etc.Works with internal/external stakeholders to understand and prioritise conflicting needs and gather business requirementsParticipates in projects and carries out business, commercial and data analysis, including internal reporting which will feed into controls for project outcomes or supports findings to enable projects to reach their goalsAct as a key stakeholder liaison to regulatory, security and industry bodies to submit responses to inquiries and help to prepare documentation in line with our ambitions for new capabilities.Have an awareness of and build up knowledge of UK Smart Metering including of DCC operations, adapters, user interface specifications.What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
Experience with process maps and creating a view of As-Is and To-Be functionalityExperience of creating models and forecasts in both a business and commercial contextExperience building great business relationships and managing stakeholdersKnowledge of techniques to gather and create functional and non-functional requirements such as workshops, questionnaires, user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.Strong written and verbal communication skillsWhat happens now?
