About the RoleAs a member of the Business Transformation and Effectiveness Team, the Business Analyst supports the Manager Business Insights and Optimisation in working with business owners to identify and deliver the business improvements necessary for Melbourne Water to become a more effective, efficient and customer centric business.
Drive a strong focus on business improvements outcomes and innovationBuild influential working relationships with subject matter experts from across the organisation to support the achievement of improvementsSupport the business in problem ideation, and help to drive insights into performance and opportunity to inform the improvement pipelineSupport the identification and delivery of improvements required to achieve the organisation's strategic intentWork with the business to identify and deliver business improvements both at a local level and at a whole of enterprise levelEncourage the development of improvement capability within businessPlease note this is not an IT Business Analyst role. About you:Demonstrated experience in delivering key business improvement changes.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form robust and influential relationshipsExperience in the analysis and delivery of continuous improvement methodology and solution setsExperience gained from contributing to a business transformation or continuous improvement programYou must be comfortable in visualization tools such as PowerBI to create compelling visual representations of data to stakeholders, telling a story that drives decision makingAt Melbourne Water, we care about water and all life that springs from it.
