About the Company Davidson is partnering with one of Brisbane's government owned corporations within the utilities sector.We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join this team and contribute to multiple IT projects, ensuring successful outcomes and innovative solutions.Responsibilities Applying business analysis methodologies to identify, design, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.Assisting in the development of business cases for projects, including strategy, budget, timeline, technology stack, and vendor selection with clear objectives and benefits.Supporting the development of procurement deliverables, including documentation of requirements for RFQ processes.Compiling evaluation panel results to assist the business team in solution evaluations.Developing end-user technology guides and installation standards, ensuring compliance with HSE policies.Creating business process documentation for current (as-is) and future (to-be) states using BPMN2.0 or other formats.Documenting business and technical requirements to guide the definition of technology solutions.Collaborating with other business functions and project teams to manage interdependencies and ensure timely project benefits.Assisting with the transition from projects to operations, ensuring system acceptance and successful business change.Communicating and documenting business and IT information effectively according to agreed processes and procedures.Acting as a liaison to define technology solutions for complex, multidisciplinary business problems.About You Proven experience as a business analyst in IT projects.Experience with BPMN (v2.0), UML, and Use Case development.Knowledge of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies, and tools.Working knowledge of SCADA and Control Systems, mobile networks, WiFi, Starlink, and Satellite Communications.Integration experience between SaaS solutions and time series data.Strong ability to estimate, plan, and manage business analysis work schedules.Ability to prepare for and facilitate face-to-face workshops.Experience in Business Transformation projects with a strong capability in managing people change.Ability to create and interpret technical documentation such as requirement specifications, use cases, and functional specifications.Understanding of system architecture, data flow, and system integration.Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders.Flexible working arrangements.Supportive work culture and a highly collaborative team environment.Attractive daily rate.Please apply by upload your current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).If you would like to have a confidential discussion, please contact Tara Gearon at ****** quoting reference JN -052024-37054.Want to know more about Davidson?Visit us at www.davidsonwp.com
