This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.

Our client, a large complex Healthcare organisation, is currently seeking a Business Analyst for an initial contract until 30/06/2025 based in Fortitude Valley with plenty of WFH flexibility.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for leading multiple system enhancement projects.

Responsibilities:

Manage requirements (including traceability) for all phases of the project from procurement to deployment/implementation.

Lead the elicitation and development of business, functional and non-functional requirements (including integration requirements) as well as evaluation criteria to support the procurement of products and services.

Provide an overall, strong central documentation capability for the project.

Analyse business requirements and apply critical thinking skills to support the identification of potential solution options and develop solution assessment criteria for the evaluation of identified solution options.

Provide expert business analysis advice and support to the Solution Architect, Project Manager and the project's governance groups.

Initiate, influence and maintain relationships within the project team and with the project's internal and external partnering stakeholders.

Oversee, manage and execute business process modelling activities and deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and business process modelling notation (BPMN) requirements.

Mandatory qualifications / professional registrations / other role requirements:

Previous experience as a Business/Business Systems Analyst within a large healthcare organisation.

Experience working on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) ICT Implementation projects, or similar.

Strong negotiation, consultation and communication skills, with experience in facilitating workshops within a large scale, complex, geographically dispersed environment.

Experience in engaging and managing stakeholder groups, both formally and informally.

Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities to quickly identify, analyse and resolve technology challenges in response to business and technical requirements.

Strong technical documentation skills and end-to-end and system testing experience (e.g. writing/executing test scripts and defect management).

BPMN skills and demonstrable experience in establishing target and future state business process models.

Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary project team.

Relevant tertiary and/or Business Analysis qualifications and methodologies (e.g., IIBA, BABOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
