By raising your hand, fostering relationships, and seizing the moment, you can take control of your own unique path.What you'll doReporting to the NSW Finance Manager, you will partner with the Site Leadership team at our Distribution Centres, to generate analysis, insights, and provide recommendations to understand and improve the overall operation. You will also deliver timely and accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial education and guidance.More specifically you will be involved with:Assisting SRDC and BIG W Operations management teams, OpsX team, and Finance Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting, including Month End, Forecast, BPM, Labour Plan, and EAs, as well as ad-hoc requests and analysis.Analyse and monitor the financial performance of SRDC and BIG W sites within NSW, recommending corrective actions when necessary.Enhancing productivity by providing clear cost-to-serve analysis, influencing decision-making, and monitoring benefit delivery.Providing guidance, coaching, and insights to State Leadership and Operations teams for financial performance management; standardise financial performance reporting, ensuring timely communication and escalation when needed.What you'll bring5+ years experience in a financial or commercial analyst role with a solid understanding of supply chain operations, distribution or manufacturing.Financial modelling skills & experience with SAP, TM1, GCP, IPA, Tableau and other data visualisation tools and financial systems in a commercial environment.Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated achievements in analytical and conceptual finance with experience in financial, variance, and forecasting analysis.Able to demonstrate initiative, drive and be proactive, with a willingness to step in and take new things on with an agile mindset.What you'll experienceOur Team Members are at the heart of everything we do and we're always looking for ways to support your career journey and reward great work:You will be joining corporate Australia's largest onsite finance team of over 800 team members.
