About the role:
Join our Electrification & Innovation (E&I) team and play a pivotal role in accelerating Australia's transition to a cleaner energy future! As part of a forward-thinking end-to-end electrification business, you'll help shape sustainable, scalable solutions that power the nation's shift towards electrification - from electric vehicles and public charging to energy plans.
In this role, you'll work alongside a dynamic team to develop and refine e-Mobility products, driving innovation and ensuring AGL remains a leader in the industry. Collaborating with Product Owners, Service Designers, Marketing, Growth Managers, and tech experts, you'll take product features from concept to launch, ensuring they meet all regulations and standards.
What you'll be doing:
Lead user research, conducting surveys, interviews, and usability testing to gain deep insights into customer needs, directly influencing product innovation. Analyse market, sales, and customer data to uncover trends, inform product decisions, and keep AGL at the forefront of electrification advancements. Take on complex challenges, identifying obstacles and working collaboratively to develop creative, timely solutions that drive product success. Work closely with Service Designers, Digital teams, Visual Designers, and Marketing Specialists, ensuring seamless integration and alignment across all product stages. Stay ahead of regulations in emerging electrification technologies, ensuring compliance while pushing the boundaries of innovation for a cleaner, sustainable future. About You:
Previous demonstrated experience in a business analysis or product development role in the energy industry - particularly with out of home charging products - is preferred. Proven experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean) with the ability to adapt and implement Agile practices across cross-functional teams. Previous experience working on consumer electrification products in Australia. Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as business requirement documents, user journey documents and architecture diagrams. Ability to engage with and manage stakeholders at various levels, including executives and end-users. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A can-do attitude and a growth mindset.
