About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of ANZs Climate Program. Reporting into the Data and Analytics workstream, you will engage senior internal stakeholders across business and technology to elicit and document both functional and non-functional requirements and associated controls. You will lead discussions to ensure requirements are clearly communicated, validated, and implemented, driving changes to business processes, policies, and systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in process improvement, the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for supporting Program initiatives and climate-related goals.

What will your day look like? As a Business Analyst, Climate Program, you will be accountable for:
Eliciting business and data requirements from key stakeholders for activities relating to Climate and ESG.Clear documentation of processes and functional/non-functional requirements.Participating in high-level solution design and delivery.Working with multiple stakeholders from across ANZ Group, including New Zealand.Assisting with project planning activities.Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to deliver desired outcomes.Supporting internal review, assessment and control processes for project and initiative delivery.Assessing impacted and new processes and defining the change management approach.Working with the business to build capacity, assist in the setup/implementation of systems, and support staff training.Assisting with forums and working group administration, reporting and flow of information to leadership team members.Leading and conducting testing of prototypes with users and stakeholders. Capturing insights and feedback to inform marketing, comms, change management, business, and technical requirements.Defining key features for prototypes and design requirements for subsequent content, UX, and UI (User Interface) design.What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated Business Analysis, Project Management, planning and problem solving skills across a broad range of projects.Ability to help define and govern the approach to requirements gathering, eliciting business and solution requirements to translate customer needs & business goals into technical specifications, verifying, validating and communicating requirements/business analysis outcomes with stakeholders.Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills; and the ability to build relationships.Ability to draft Test Strategy, Acceptance Criteria and User Stories, and contribute to team estimating.Display initiative with a demonstrated ability to manage time & priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment, with an ability to effectively prioritise multiple deliverables and determine the best sequencing to maximise outcomes.Conversant with Information security principles and controls and understanding of document services technology platforms will be a bonus.Knowledge of ESG/ Environmental Sustainability and associated frameworks.
