We have a 12mth FTC opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Technology team, where you will engage with business stakeholders to understand their business and technology requirements and translate them into technical specifications for build by the Engineering team. As the Tech BA you will represent the business stakeholder(s) through the day-to-day execution of initiatives and continuously improve the quality of our technology solutions.Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and developers to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Conduct in-depth analysis of current systems, data flows, and business processes to identify gaps and propose suitable technology solutions.Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.Support the development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with project timelines.Ensure solution delivers to business needs adhering to architecture principles and roadmap.Break down delivery into cohesive elements and prioritise with business owners.Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to design and manage roadmaps and timelines.Facilitate and lead squad ceremonies.Support the technology and business stakeholders in initiative brief development.What will set you apart from the rest?Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or similar technical role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.Strong knowledge of business process modelling and improvement techniques.Familiarity with data governance principles.Collab and Delivery tools knowledge - e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, Miro.Background in REITs, commercial or industrial real estate, infrastructure or hotels advantageous.Preferred experience in any of the following:Hyperconverged infrastructure and edge computing.Telco, mobile and connectivity.Smart buildings, such as people counting, physical security, access management, security of physical hardware, building management systems.Hardware and asset service management.About UsScentre Group owns 42 Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand.
