We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Account Manager to drive new business, build strong relationships with clients, and promote our energy solutions. Based in Cairns, you will be responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities while educating clients on the benefits of switching to renewable and energy-efficient opportunities.
You'll develop and implement innovative account management strategies that not only enhance customer loyalty but also unlock exciting new business opportunities. Represent Origin at regional networking events, collaborate with internal teams, and be the catalyst for exceptional service.
Key responsibilities: Develop tailored account management plans to expand your business portfolioCultivate strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunitiesEngage in face-to-face meetings, conduct account reviews, and deliver proactive customer serviceIdentify and pursue new sales leads through cold calling and strategic outreachProvide valuable market insights to refine sales strategies and enhance profitabilityMaintain up-to-date records in CRM systems and ensure timely internal reportingWhat you will bring: Proven experience in commercial and industrial sales, showcasing a strong track record in account management and business developmentExceptional networking skills with the ability to build and sustain relationships across various sectorsA proactive, problem-solving mindset, adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-first approachA self-starter with resilience and determination to achieve results in a competitive marketA current driver's license and a willingness to travel regionally and interstate as neededSo, why join us?
