To succeed in this role, we require someone who has: 5 – 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems engineering, preferably in solar thermal power generation with thermal energy storage. Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field. Working knowledge of engineering deliverables related to instrumentation and control, including instrument/valve data sheets, functional descriptions, control logic diagrams, loop diagrams, P&IDs, control schematics, etc. Strong knowledge of instrumentation and valve selection and specification, particularly as used in solar thermal or power generation. Strong knowledge of DCS and PLC configuration, implementation, and commissioning, preferably with Emerson hardware. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, HART, Profibus).
