UGL's Utilities Operations & Maintenance team has an exciting opportunity for a Water Treatment Plant Technician to join our WRAMS (Water Reclamation and Management Scheme) project based in Homebush Bay Olympic Park.
This is a hands-on role supervising and undertaking all Operational and Maintenance activities including but not limited to operating plant and equipment, development and maintenance of the water treatment assets, raw water and treated water supply ensuring maximum efficiency in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety within the WRAMS Budget.
Key Responsibilities Undertake all operational aspects of the assigned plants in accordance with the relevant Maintenance, Quality and Operations Management Plans. Manage and foster relationship with the asset owner and customer (Sydney Olympic Park Authority). Manage and undertake maintenance of specialist equipment after specific training e.g. Micro Filtration Modules. Evaluate and respond as necessary to automatically generated alarms. Maintain site diary and daily log sheet. About You Electrical Trade or Mechanical Trade Qualification (Highly regarded). Certificate III Water Operations. Drivers Licence. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work alone. Proficient in MS software (Excel, Word, Outlook etc).
