The Senior Business Analyst / Test Analyst will contribute to the successful delivery of the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Expansion (RWVP-E) project by providing domain specialist skills and knowledge through the coordination of system analysis, testing and quality assurance activities to deliver a new RWVP-E ICT system for the Department.
Period of Appointment:
6 months.
Hours per fortnight:
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties:
Coordinate the test planning, test estimation, test status reporting, defect reporting, system testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing for each system.
Prepare test plans and test cases for the system.
Populate the test case management application with comprehensive tests that can be carried out by staff to ensure user acceptance testing and regression testing has covered all functionality.
Ensure that adequate testing is carried out for the system.
Ensure that testing is as rigorous as possible within the capability of available resources.
Participate in systems tests, facilitate and support user acceptance testing and manage reporting on test issues for each system.
The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
A current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.

Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable and/or extensive work experience demonstrating a high level of skills in test management and project related work would be an advantage.
