Safety Consultant We are currently working with a Tier 1 mining company who is looking to engage an experienced Safety Consultant.
Location: Perth
Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility of extension.
About the Role: As part of our client's ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of their workforce, they are seeking a highly skilled Safety Consultant to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will provide critical administrative and safety compliance support.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative support to the Health & Safety Superintendent. Assist in the preparation of safety reports, compliance documentation, and other health and safety related records. Manage and maintain health and safety records to ensure accuracy and compliance with WHS legislation and company policies. Collaborate with the health and safety team to ensure continuous improvement of safety practices. Contribute to the development and delivery of safety programs and initiatives. Key Requirements: Proven experience in health and safety, preferably within the mining industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel. Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence clearly and professionally. Well-developed organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members. A strong understanding of WHS legislation and safety compliance standards. Desirable Qualifications but not limited to: Relevant safety qualifications or certifications. Prior experience providing administrative support to safety teams. Benefits: Competitive salary package.
