Electric Vehicle & Robotics Development End to end development of a new, fully electric solution. Early stage product business with massive potential.
The Role: Phillip Riley is working with a hugely exciting EV business, creating a solution which will have a profound effect on Safety within their field. The opportunity has arisen for a Lead Electrical Engineer to not only work on their existing product, but also develop a new product which will include end to end development, specifications, connections, battery management, and charging.
This is a phenomenal opportunity for an experienced engineer to own a new product and be at the forefront of decarbonisation and robotics. As well as this, your solution will absolutely save lives and contribute to a safer environment for operators to work in.
The business has produced a couple of prototypes that are in operation, and they are now looking to ramp up production as interest continues to rise in their offering. This role would suit a senior or principal electrical engineer, with an R&D background within EV, BESS development, Robotics, Automation, Charging systems, or Motor development. This is not a management role at this stage.
Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer – Electric Vehicle Development
Location: Perth CBD
Salary: 140,000 - $170,000 + Super
Key Skills: Degree Qualified in a relevant subject, such as Electrical Engineering. Must have a proven Electrical Engineering background. Experienced in one or more of the following areas is essential – EV, Charging Systems, Robotics, Automation, Battery design, or Motors and their control systems. Experience in CAD tools such as Rapid Harness and KiCAD. Understanding of functional safety. An understanding of Australian EV standards, electrical design for high temperatures, RF control systems, and Robotics systems components (sensors and actuators) is looked on favourably. Excellent communication skills, process driven, and passionate about their craft. Why this role?
