They are committed to innovation, helping to protect the planet, and creating a sustainable future.About the PositionOur client is seeking a front-end construction or projects lawyer to work on major construction projects for their in-house legal team. In the role, you will report to a very experienced General Counsel who is friendly and a great mentor. You will work on projects that are rewarding with the knowledge you are making a real positive impact in the daily lives of millions of Australians.About YouYou are a front-end construction or projects lawyer with good commercial acumen and strong experience in drafting and reviewing a variety of construction contracts. You have great people relationship skills and can work in a fast-paced environment.DutiesReview and negotiate Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts.Review and negotiate Design Build (DB) Contracts, Operation & Management (O&M) Contracts.Review and negotiate contracts for tenders, JV Agreements and key subcontracts.Advise on tenders and contracts for PPP's and Alliances.Review other commercial agreements.Manage external counsel and develop relationships with internal stakeholders.Qualifications3-5 years of post-admission experience gained working in-house or in a top-tier, international or mid-tier firm.Experience in front-end construction, infrastructure and / or major projects.Prior in-house or secondment experience is desirable but not required.
