Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play an integral part of our overall new business strategy. This role will have you working closely on pricing & commercial terms for tenders and ensure commercial viability of tenders and re-signs. Operating within a highly dynamic commercial team, opportunities for long term career are plentiful.
Key responsibilities include: Managing a team of 2 analysts in a supportive and collaborative work environment Working closely with Executives and Senior decision makers Collaborating with the Sales, Category and Implementation teams to optimise sales and profitable strategies and outcomes Driving process efficiencies and innovation in bidding, price increases, reviews, re-signs, and static catalogues Conducting key pricing analysis, working effectively with key business counterparts, to provide insight on pricing and margin profitability Involvement in the product strategy, including product selection, pricing and commercials Developing a competitive matrix – market intel, blind spots, strengths / weaknesses Ensuring commercial viability of tenders and re-signs Driving margin improvements and cost to serve efficiencies across COS customer base More about you You are a strategic thinker who has strong business acumen and an affinity for numbers. Curious and results oriented, you focus on the big picture perspective and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
To be considered for the role, you will have: Strong market understanding ideally with knowledge in FMCG and B2B environments and pricing analytics Previous experience in product selection, pricing and product strategy Previous experience in managing a team Demonstrated experience with profit drivers and cost based analysis Experience with analysis of Value and Price Impact differentials High attention to detail Passion for problem solving Customer centricity and high level of adaptability Experience in influencing and negotiating with various senior internal stakeholders More about COS When you join COS you'll be working for a growing business servicing many of Australia's most well recognised companies and government agencies.
