Collaborative team environment UNSW College is a wholly owned subsidiary of The University of New South Wales (UNSW). We're looking for an enthusiastic IT Delivery Lead to join our dynamic UNSW College IT Team.
The IT Delivery Lead plays a crucial role in leading IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business requirements, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget. This position involves collaboration with stakeholders, coordination with cross-functional teams, and managing project risks to achieve successful outcomes. The role demands strong leadership, effective communication, and a focus on quality and delivery.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives. Lead cross-functional IT project teams, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented environment that motivates team members. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations, provide regular updates, and maintain alignment. Ensure quality of delivery by monitoring progress, identifying bottlenecks, managing resources, and overseeing budgeting activities. Track actual spend against budget, provide budget reports, and take corrective actions as needed. The successful applicant will have (but not limited to):
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Delivery Lead or Project Manager in IT or software-related projects. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools such as JIRA, Trello, or MS Project.
