Hardware Engineer - Electrical / Electronic Based in Mawson Lakes, South Australia and reporting to the Electrical Engineering Lead, you will design and develop electrical / electronic product solutions that meet internal and external customer specific requirements.
You will also be responsible for the generation and management of supporting objective qualification evidence and related documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

As part of your specific responsibilities, you will: Design and develop systems / subsystem electrical / electronic product solutions. Contribute to the product selection of procured specialist hardware items, products, and related equipment and support integration and testing activities. Review and / or approve Electrical / Electronic Hardware designs and related artefacts required for internal / external reviews. Develop hardware product structures in an integrated ERP / PLM environment. Deliver assigned tasks within the agreed scope, quality, schedule, and cost. Report progress on assigned tasks and notify any potential schedule or technical issues. About you Your skills and experience will include: Experience in developing hardware solutions. Experience in writing and / or reviewing hardware related documentation that satisfies all engineering requirements. Experience in designing hardware components using formal design methodologies and tools. Thorough understanding and experience of best practice principles for hardware design, development, testing, and implementation. Strong problem-solving ability. Electrical related Computer Aided Design (CAD) (desirable). As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
