The Distribution Centre Manager, SEQDC is a senior leadership role taking full responsibility for the delivery of high-quality supply chain services to Hospitals and Health Services (HHS) across multiple sites within South East and South West Queensland.
Key Responsibilities: Convey a clear vision for overall operational excellence and safety culture in the Distribution Centre and leverage the strengths of the Distribution Centre Team members towards achievement of the vision. Ensure that the highest standards of customer service and customer confidence are at the heart of Distribution Centre culture and operations. Provide motivational leadership to the Distribution Centre workforce to maximise employee performance and engagement and to provide the foundation for effective implementation of workplace change. Provide leadership in developing a culture of continuous process improvement, innovation and performance accountability across the Distribution Centre. Role Fit: The essential requirements for this role are:
Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to provide motivational leadership to the Distribution Centre workforce and to develop a commercially focused workplace culture of continuous improvement, innovation and customer service. Record of successful achievement in a leadership role in a fast-moving consumer goods Distribution Centre environment. Expert technical knowledge of contemporary Distribution Centre and warehousing systems, operating models, and related space utilisation and materials handling solutions, along with an excellent understanding of the interrelationships between Distribution Centres and other functions in a complex supply chain system. Very highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, stakeholder engagement and change advocacy skills. Demonstrated analytical skills, the capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex problems. Qualifications, Registrations, and Other Requirements: While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
