The Colliers Engineering and Design team specializes in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning, and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals, and engineering design through to completion of construction.
Job Description We are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer in Brisbane; this is a newly created role available due to strong organic growth. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Senior Designers on the design and delivery of Urban Development projects. In particular, you will work on land developments (residential and commercial), infrastructure, and municipal projects including roads, drainage, sewer, water, and earthworks erosion and sediment control.
Responsibilities: Review sketches, drawings, and engineering data received from external consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders. Create detailed engineering designs and construction drawings compliant with industry standards and codes. Analyse and prepare reports, drawings, planning, and design documents for urban development projects. Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis to manage project variations. Qualifications: High level technical knowledge of industry codes and standards. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. High level industry awareness and engagement. Relevant tertiary qualifications, use of 12d, ACAD, 12d drainage, PC Drain. Experience in preparation of concept and detailed designs for land development projects.
