About the Role As a Business Analyst in our Strategy & Experience team within the Retail Division, you'll play a key role in partnering with business leaders to identify areas for improvement, support the execution of key transformation initiatives, and translate business needs into actionable solutions. What will your day look like? As a Business Analyst, you will be: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assess business needs, challenges, and objectives. Designing and implementing strategic processes & initiatives that align with our goals and vision, ensuring the business runs more smoothly and effectively. Driving business requirements gathering, analysing data to support decision-making, and identifying areas for continuous customer and banker improvements. Assessing the impact of proposed changes on business operations, processes, and systems. Identifying potential risks and dependencies associated with initiatives. Translating business needs into clear and concise functional requirements. Leading business workshops, facilitating discussions, and managing communication between different teams to create clear, cohesive strategies. Delivering synthesised, actionable insights and reports that help guide management decisions and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business. Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented strategies and improvements. What will you bring? A dynamic problem-solver with strong business analysis experience in an organisational context (not just technical). Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, simplifying complex ideas into clear, actionable insights. A proactive approach to identifying business needs, aligning solutions with strategic goals, and driving change across the organisation. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to provide recommendations for improvement. A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Solid understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines, and procedures. Business analysis experience and detailed knowledge of analysis tasks, elicitation techniques, documenting, presenting, and managing requirements with different stakeholders across business and program teams. Previous experience working in a hybrid project delivery environment (i.e. Agile and Waterfall methodology) also highly desirable. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
