About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, one of the nation's most respected hospitals.
The Research Program and Database Officer is an integral member of the research team within the Surgical Outcomes Research Centre (SOuRCe), responsible for planning, implementation, coordination, data management, and reporting of concurrent research projects.
This role requires the ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines across various disciplines, including assisting in the development and implementation of research protocols, ethics and governance submission, project management, consumer engagement, patient recruitment, data collection, patient follow up, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and report writing.
The Research Program and Database Officer will utilise their knowledge of clinical and health services research to maintain productive working relationships with internal and external collaborators, departments, and staff.
Ideal Candidate
Health related degree and/or experience in research, clinical trials, or relevant experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in conducting research in a health service environment.
Excellent organisational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated experience of working on concurrent research projects and the ability to work within the constraints of a research protocol.
