Arrowquip is seeking a passionate and skilled Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson to join our Operations division in Tamworth, NSW. You will be responsible for designing and detailing agricultural products, performing engineering calculations, and contributing to new product development. Key Responsibilities Design and detail agricultural products using Onshape; generate drawings, BOMs, and engineering datasheets. Perform mechanical engineering calculations and finite element stress analysis using SolidWorks. Prepare technical reports, design specifications, and operational manuals; calculate cost estimates and report to the R&D Lead. Record and evaluate testing data, adjusting designs to meet safety standards. Liaise with clients, customers, engineers, and other staff to provide engineering support; stay updated on industry best practices. Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and certification in 3D modelling software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, etc.). 3 years' experience in manufacturing industries / new product development is preferred. Expertise in computer-aided design (preferably Onshape and / or SolidWorks) and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Superior mathematical and creative thinking abilities, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team. Salary $80,000 to $120,000 a year (commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience)
