Job Description About the Team The Presentations Engage team owns the critical user journeys around presenting and sharing designs both in live and async scenarios. Sitting within the Editing Group, they are key members of the broader Visual Suite. Presentations as a doctype is the most used at Canva. The team also collaborates heavily with counterparts in Editing Core, Videos, and Offline teams.
While we have shipped world-class products, there is still much to be done. We have a packed upcoming road map of exciting features that will take Presentations to new heights. Expect a strong focus on AI integration, interactivity, and other power user features.
Qualifications Passion for great UX, storytelling, and collaboration. Cross-browser knowledge as we are often driving changes that may have implications across many different browsers, devices, and modalities. Problem-solving and algorithm skills. Having worked as part of a design system. Having worked to build and ship impactful product and/or changes. Consideration for performance, especially as it relates to a great product experience. Our frontend stack consists of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, MobX, etc. Experience in some of these would be valuable but is not required. Firm grounding in computer science and engineering fundamentals including concurrency, multithreading, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns. #J-18808-Ljbffr
