ABOUT THE ROLE The Bus Marshall supports the School by facilitating a smooth and safe drop off and collection process for all students arriving and departing Knox Grammar Senior School in the afternoons. This role liaises with students, families and the bus company. The role also supports students by ensuring they at their designated after school activities or Academy.
This is a permanent part-time position, based at the School's Senior Campus with hours between 2.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday during Term time, with some flexibility where the need arises.
Overall responsibilities are:
Maintaining a duty of care to all students, including learning student patterns for arrival and departure.Confidently liaise with the bus company in the event that any issues arise, such as late services.Using online platforms for reporting, finance, management and communication purposes.Maintain visibility around the School and direct students to their after-school activities or Academy, or the location most appropriate if waiting for collection by parents/guardian.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
