Our client is looking for qualified and experienced Building Surveyors to work 2 - 3 days per week (14-21 hours) for up to a 6 month period.The role:The position will involve working with a small team of Building Surveyors to undertake building inspections in line with policy and procedure.
Salary to be negotiated depending skills and experience.Your main duties & responsibilities will include:Working with a small team of Building Surveyors to undertake building inspectionsAdhering with Council's policies and legislative frameworks relating to Building Surveying, Building Certification and Planning matters.What you will need to succeed includes:Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health and Building, Building Surveying or a related field.Accreditation with NSW Fair Trading at a registration level of Building Surveyor – restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings).Experience in a similar role within an LGA (preferred)Outstanding all round communication skillsRemarkable organisational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge or ability to familiarise with the relevant legislationDemonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.Class C Drivers Licence.About You:A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Ability to manage workloads, work under pressure and meet deadlinesHave a previous experience in a similar role for (LGA desired)Disciplined with remarkable organisational skills to meet targets and purposeEffective and efficient use of time to ensure a productive workflow.Drive to succeedHold a C class Drivers Licence (desirable)What perks are included for you :2 or 3 days part time work per weekWhat you need to do now:If you or anyone you know is interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.Alternatively, you can email your CV directly to ****** or contact me on 0474 004 922.Please note - Only shortlisted candidates with full working rights will be contacted.
