Due to an upcoming retirement of a team member, Whittles is seeking a Building Services Manager to oversee and manage the panel of trade contractors and suppliers. This role is critical to ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with all safety and legislative guidelines.
Responsibilities Conduct on-site visits to assess maintenance requirements Prepare detailed reports for Body Corporate Managers Review and maintain the Contractor Register, ensuring compliance with insurance, licensing and other regulatory requirements Conduct audits on contractors to ensure adherence to service standards Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list and service level agreements in key trade categories Build and maintain strong relationships with body corporate managers, clients and contractors Ensure compliance with WHS and other relevant regulations Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in construction or a related industry, a strong understanding of building codes, safe work legislation, and a builder license or trade qualification.
