Be accountable for all works carried out and prepare and finalise production estimates and orders.
Reporting to the Building Estimating Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Create and complete estimates including all variations, selections and site cost items Resolve ordering oversights and or anomalies when identified Accuracy of work to minimise margin erosion Identify potential site issues in standard BOQs and record all amendments in the masters plans Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with Building regulations and Metricon policies Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders; and Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved

The successful candidate will have: 3-5 years' residential estimating experience preferred, or a Trade background, with quoting, a desirable background At minimum a Cert IV in Building Construction is essential, a Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage Working knowledge of construction processes and details Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in Excel Working knowledge of an estimating system (e.g. BusinessCraft, Timberline, HMS, Databuild and Precision) is an advantage; and A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
