The Role
Our client is currently looking for a construction and infrastructure lawyer with a minimum of 4 years pae experience up to SA/SC level, to join their Building and Construction Team.

Clients will include property developers, construction companies, commercial builders, home owners, domestic builders, OC's and more.

The role centres on both domestic and commercial building matters, including: Front end contracts & agreementsBack end dispute resolutionThe matters you will work on will include a range of building projects, from residential, commercial, industrial, to retail and multi-unit development.

A snapshot of matters will include: Drafting and negotiating contracts and sub contractsProviding advice on payments, variations, defects, delays, termination rights, insolvency insurance claims and security payment claimsMediationDispute resolutionLegislative and regulatory requirementsVCAT disputesDomestic Building Act disputesDefective building work claimsConstruction law advice and dispute resolution in delay and liquidated damages claimsAdvice and dispute resolution in construction variation claimsBuilding practitioner professional liability claimsThe benefits:
