This position is based in Melbourne (Ravenhall), with a 3/2 hybrid option available, you will have access to onsite parking, as well as an opportunity for mentorship by industry leading, senior Customs Brokers.
For this particular role, ideally you will have some exposure to the following: Leading a team Being an active, licensed Customs Broker in a similar environment Cargo Wise One and ICS Current AEP accreditation Operating in a paperless environment Customs tariffs Proactively communicating with internal and external stakeholders Working in a collaborative environment What will you do each day? Each day can be a little different in a Supply Chain environment.
You might find yourself engaging in the following activities: Lodgement of Import Declarations for a large variety of products and customers.
Handling complex Valuations and Classifications Applying for tariff concessions including preparing refund/duty drawbacks Ensuring compliance with ABF, DAWR and other government agencies Liaising with and supporting internal stakeholders to ensure an exceptional customer experience Representing clients in meetings with customs officials Applying for duty refunds and tariff reclassifications Interested?
