Main tasks: You will develop and execute strategies that align with the company's objectives, overseeing all HR functions and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Other tasks:
Leadership: Manage one direct report, an HR coordinator, while leading recruitment, training, and development programs Employee relations: Oversee performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations to ensure a harmonious work environment Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian industrial relations and employee relations legislation Strategic collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team on strategic planning and operational execution HR projects: Lead HR projects and initiatives with a focus on diversity, equality, and inclusion Continuous improvement: Drive workplace efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives Talent development: Develop and implement dynamic learning and development programs that empower employees to grow and excel. What you must have to apply for this role:
Extensive experience in an HR generalist or management role, ideally in the manufacturing industry Certification in human resources, & training and assessment, or similar Strong negotiation, communication, & interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage performance, conflict resolution, & employee relations issues effectively Emotional intelligence & the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to different locations as required. You will be highly regarded if you also have:
Knowledge of Australian industrial relations & employee relations legislation A degree in business, human resources, psychology, organisational development, or similar Experience in diversity, equality, inclusion, and belonging initiatives Strong presentation and training skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
