We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.About the roleWorking within a national team, the Brokerage Support Officer will work with managers, coordinators and the intake services team to oversee and deliver effective brokerage support services in order to meet the needs of our Aged Care clients.The successful candidate will have strong administrative and computer literacy skills as well as experience within the community services sector. This is a full time, 12 month max term role which can be based from any of our offices nationally, with hybrid work from home arrangements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersSupport induction processes for new brokering partnersEnsure brokerage service agreements are relevant, current, and compliantReceive, track and respond in a timely manner to enquiries from internal and external stakeholdersMaintain an effective and efficient records management system and brokerage registerKeep up to date with knowledge of program funding guidelines, requirements, and processesAssist with invoice acquittals for brokered servicesSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience within the community services sectorStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in the collection and analysis of client or customer informationAbility to manage competing priorities within a high-volume work environmentAn ability to develop and maintain positive working relationshipsAn understanding of the Aged Care Quality StandardsCommitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of the people we supportTo be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
