20+ years of experience Brokers of over 100 million carbon & environmental units annually Multiple industry award-winners The role. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team on a full-time basis in our office.
Reporting to the Head of Markets, you'll play a crucial part in advancing our services within the dynamic landscape of both the national and international voluntary and compliance carbon markets. Operating within a small team environment, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues as well as collaborating with high-value clients to understand their needs and tailor brokerage solutions accordingly.
We welcome candidates with 3-5 years experience in an equivalent customer facing role and/or field where developing and maintaining client relationships is pivotal to your success and ability to grow with the business.
Responsibilities. 1 Client Account Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with high-value clients in Australian and International environmental markets. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor brokerage solutions accordingly. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing inquiries promptly. 2 Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our presence innational and international voluntary and compliance carbon markets. Actively contribute to the development of business strategies and marketing initiatives. Participate in networking events and industry conferences to enhance the company's visibility. 3 Data Compilation and Analysis:
Compile, analyze, and interpret market data to provide insights and support decision-making processes. Conduct research on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments. Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Requirements. Bachelor's degree (minimum) in finance, economics, or a related field. 3-5 years experience in trading/broking OR in an equivalent customer-facing role and/or field (such as sales in the banking, finance or commodities industry) Experience and/or interest in thevoluntary and compliance carbon markets will be highly regarded, yet not essential Be open to flexible working arrangements that may require you to work outside of standard business hours E.g. servicing the international voluntary carbon market during evening session. Excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to engage high-value clients and enjoy building strong relationships Dynamic thinking with the capacity to adapt focus in a changing, high-pressure, and competitive environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Able to work from the city office, in a fast-paced environment, with an ambitious approach to work. Previous experience or familiarity with options trading is considered a benefit To be considered for this role you must already be eligible to live and work in Australiaand/or the UK.
